A manicure shop has launched a ‘Manicure for Everyone’ initiative.
The idea behind the campaign is that ‘everyone’ is now ‘in the market for a manicure’.
The idea of ‘everyone in the market’ is not just a joke, the company has announced, it is the name of the initiative.
“The idea behind this initiative is that everyone in the world, every generation, can benefit from having their nails professionally polished,” the company’s marketing manager, Anurag Pandey, told India’s Times of Indian newspaper.
Pandey added that ‘everybody’ could get a manicurer of their own.
The campaign was launched in December, just days before India’s national day of remembrance for victims of the 1999 terrorist attack on Mumbai.
The manicurists are selling their products in the hopes of raising awareness of the ongoing problem of the nail salon explosion.
Panday added that he and his team are also trying to promote the ‘manicurists for everyone’ initiative in other countries.
“Our goal is to reach people in countries around the world to spread awareness of nail salons explosion and to educate people on how to safely and easily get their nails done by someone else,” Pandey said.
