David Nutters has landed the lead role in The Last Starfighters, the sci-fi action-adventure movie that is set to be released on June 11, 2017.
The Last Starsfighter stars James Earl Jones as Captain Psi-7, a man who is the head of a secret military operation and who is tasked with hunting down the Last Star Fighter (LOST) pilot that escaped from a planet.
“Psi-6 was one of the last remaining survivors of the planet LOST,” said Michaela Watkins, the actress who plays Psi.
“And it was on a planet that the LOST pilot was trying to get back to.
So, the pilot was actually chasing him back to Earth.
And I think, ultimately, that’s where he was able to save the day.”
According to Watkins, Psi is going to be a badass and will be using the Last Stars fighter to go after the pilot.
Nutters will be playing the character in a scene set to the soundtrack of the Last Jedi.
“I am incredibly excited about playing this character,” Nutters said.
“I’ve been a big fan of the Star Wars movies for a long time, and I am so excited to get to play this character.
The Last Starsfighters is the first sci-Fi movie from J.J. Abrams, who is also executive producer on the film.
The director of the movie is David Leitch, who also helmed the first Star Wars movie, Return of the Jedi.
Last Starfighter will be Abrams’ first feature film.
It will also be his first feature-length film in the Star Trek universe.
The Last STARFIGHTERS will be directed by Andrew Logan, and will also feature music by Michael L. Wright, and special effects by Christopher Wachter.
The film is written and executive produced by Abrams and Leitch.
