SEATTLE — A Seattle manicurist and a Seattle manicuring store have closed after a fire.
A fire on Monday at a Seattle-area salon, which has been closed for nearly a year, destroyed two businesses, and the owners are being sued.
Seattle’s Aloft Spa & Beauty Salon closed Monday night, and its former owners are seeking more than $30,000 in damages from the salon owner, Aloft salon owner Robert F. Johnson, and salon owner Lisa L. Gorman.
The salon owners filed a lawsuit in federal court in Seattle and say they had no choice but to close because of the fire.
The lawsuit said Aloft was owned by Johnson and his business partner, Lisa L.-Gorman, who also owns a beauty salon in Seattle.
Aloft is owned by Aloft Salon and Spa of the Pacific Northwest, which is owned and operated by Johnson, according to the lawsuit.
