The Seattle manicure and pedicure retailer Manicures is set to open its first store in Seattle’s Westlake neighborhood, according to a source close to the project.
The store, which will feature a variety of high-end, high-quality manicure equipment and supplies, is slated to open sometime in 2018, the source told Axios.
The retailer plans to sell more than 200,000 manicures per year.
The store, currently under construction in Ballard, is expected to open by early 2019.
Manicures has been in operation in Seattle for nearly two decades.
It opened a store in the Seattle area in March 2016 and has expanded into other markets, including the Pacific Northwest, South East, and Western U.S.
The retail chain will be a major addition to the region’s manicure supply industry.
Manics has been known for its high-grade quality manicures for more than a decade, but the chain is entering into a new era of high quality retail for its customers.
Manices is the third-largest seller of high end manicures in the U.T. and is expected bring new products to the retail landscape in the coming years, according the source.
Maniccures was founded in 2004 and is a member of the Beauty Alliance, which is a trade association of leading retailers.
The organization is made up of leading high-fashion and luxury brands.
